Frontier Developments will once again partner with Formula 1’s not-for-profit global STEM competition, F1 in Schools, through its F1 management simulation game F1® Manager 2023.

The officially licensed F1® Manager 2023 offers fans the chance to write their own chapter in F1 history as they step into the role of Team Principal at one of 10 2023 F1 teams. From designing components and recruiting talented drivers and key staff, to making reactive, data-led decisions on track, all of which are experienced through broadcast-quality visuals and audio.

The title will support the Aramco F1 in Schools World Finals 2023 in Singapore, which will feature a record entry of 68 teams comprising over 400 students from 26 countries. Players will be given the option to send staff to F1 in Schools events in-game via interactive emails.

F1® Manager 2023 will also be the title sponsor of the new-for-2023 Nose Cone Challenge. Mimicking a full scale F1 pit stop, the award is for the team that develops a car with a nose that can be dismantled and replaced in the shortest time.

“F1® Manager 2023 is all about putting the player in the role of the Team Principal, where much of the team they lead is made up of STEM roles which are vital to on-track performance. We are proud to continue our support of F1 in Schools and the STEM opportunities it creates worldwide, and we look forward to celebrating every team taking part" said Marilena Papacosta, Director of Brand Marketing, Frontier Developments

Much like the players of F1® Manager 2023, F1 in Schools teams must design, manufacture and race miniature F1 cars in a mission to increase STEM opportunities globally and increase diversity in STEM roles. This year, the Aramco F1 in Schools World Finals 2023 takes place in Singapore on 10-13 September.

“We’re very excited to be continuing our partnership with Frontier Developments for a second year,” said Andrew Denford, Founder and Chairman, F1 in Schools. “As is the case in the game, our teams must assign roles and develop their own car design. We find teams can go in very different directions and make varying decisions along the way, as the players will at the helm of their virtual F1 team.”

F1® Manager 2023 is available to play now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
