Includes eight iconic animals from the North American continent, and an exciting new timed scenario!

Cambridge, UK – 23 September 2021 Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV) announced today a brand new expansion for the ultimate zoo simulation, Planet Zoo. Players will be transported to wild and rugged landscapes with the Planet Zoo: North America Animal Pack, which heads to Steam on 4 October 2021 for a suggested retail price of £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.

From dry grassland to snowy mountains, Planet Zoo: North America Animal Pack brings eight highly-requested animals from across North America to the game. This includes seven mesmerising habitat animals: The industrious American Beaver, with its long front teeth and paddle-shaped tail; the towering and majestic Moose; the sleek and smart California Sea Lion; the shy and solitary Cougar; the enormous American Alligator; the highly-sociable Black-tailed Prairie Dog; and the elusive yet adorable Arctic Fox.

Joining these fascinating new habitat animals in Planet Zoo: North America Animal Pack is the American Bullfrog. The largest frog in North America, they are known for their bright green skin and powerful swimming, and, as only the second swimming exhibit animal to be added to Planet Zoo, are sure to captivate zoo guests.

Players can keep their new animals happy using one of the five new enrichment items: the Beaver Pool, Pronghorn Piñata, Skittle Feeder, Melon Feeder, and Underwater Plant Feeder. Beavers can exercise their natural inclinations for building using the Beaver Pool enrichment item, which is sure to impress guests. Zookeepers can also fully embrace the North American spirit with Beaver-themed headwear for their avatars.

An exciting new timed scenario is also heading to the pack. Zookeepers will step into the foothills of the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains to put their skills to the test, as they use the wilderness around them to transform a small zoo, located in marshy wetlands, into a fully-functioning success story.

Alongside the launch of Planet Zoo: North America Animal Pack, players will receive a free base-game update that brings a range of bonus extras and improvements. This includes terrain variations in starting maps, a new height map feature, deep-water swimming for feline species, path barriers, and much more.
