LostWinds wins IGN's "Best of 2008" award for 'Best Use of Wii-Mote'
We are very pleased to announce that IGN named LostWinds the winner of the 'Best Use of WiiMote' category in IGN's "Best of 2008" end of year awards.
They say:
"Truly unique in design, the game's ability to conduct the power of wind to control the player [character] is a concept we were instantly hooked on, and sits atop a list of impressive IR offerings on the system. LostWinds isn't just an adventure/platformer with the Wii-mote functionality tacked on; this game is made possible with the Wii remote."
The other nominees were:
- Call of Duty: World at War
- Boom Blox
- Okami
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play
LostWinds was also nominated in several other categories in the IGN awards, both Wii-specific and across all platofrms; click here for a listing.
